ABOUT

WHY WE DO IT

The Building Safety Act 2022 was introduced to ensure that improvements to the safety of homes particularly in high rise buildings are made, after the lessons learned from the Grenfell disaster, as well as several other building safety failures over the years.

Now, Principal Accountable Persons (freeholders and resident led management companies) are responsible for building and fire safety of high rise buildings, and they are at risk of criminal prosecution if they fail to take steps to embrace the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022 and if they fail to exercise their duties with due skill, care and diligence.

Building Safety Directors & Managers Limited act as building safety advisors and consultants and we introduce professional third parties to assist with compliance with the Building Safety Act
